Limerick City Parish runs a number of education programmes. Short courses on various aspects of the faith are usually held in Advent and in Lent. Study days and retreats are also sometimes organised. The music programme is run by Peter Barley, the Director of Music. St Mary’s & St Michael’s both have their own choirs and sing every Sunday at the main services. Throughout the year the choirs sing at special services reflecting the rich variety of Anglican worship and how music can make a wonderful accompaniment to liturgy. The Cathedral Choir have practices every Friday in Term time.

The Garden of Remembrance
Within the grounds of the Cathedral there is a Garden of Remembrance for the interment of ashes of deceased parishioners. In keeping with the ancient cathedral, the Select Vestry carefully maintain the Garden to reflect the surrounding hinterland. More information may be obtained from the Dean.
