Worship is central to the spiritual life of Limerick City Parish. Our churches provide beautiful worship spaces in which we celebrate, offer prayers and live out our faith within a community of believers. This parish has a rich liturgical tradition and each of our worship services has its own characteristics.
Sunday Worship Services
The 11.15am service is the principal service in the Cathedral of Sundays and includes music from the Choir and a sermon.
Midweek Worship Services
During the week, we celebrate Holy Communion on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. During this service we offer special intercessions for our community and those who have been included on our prayer list.
Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals
The Clergy are more than happy to discuss these services with anybody, please contact them for more information
Other Services throughout the year
Throughout the year we observe the major feast days of the church. During Advent we host the Community Carol Service and Carol services for our Parish School (St Michael’s). All of these services have different themes and liturgies reflecting the rich beauty of worship in our Anglican tradition.
