Worship is central to the spiritual life of Limerick City Parish. Our churches provide beautiful worship spaces in which we celebrate, offer prayers and live out our faith within a community of believers. This parish has a rich liturgical tradition and each of our worship services has its own characteristics.
Sunday Worship Services
The 10:00 a.m. service is often referred to as the “Family Service”. This alternates between Parish Communion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays and a Service of the Word/Morning Prayer on the 1st and 3rd.
During term time the Sunday School meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
During term time refreshments are served after all services in the Narthex of the Church.
At all our services children are encouraged to participate with their parents if desired.
Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals
The Clergy are more than happy to discuss these services with anybody, please contact them for more information
Other Services throughout the year
Throughout the year we observe the major feast days of the church. During Advent we host the Community Carol Service and Carol services for our Parish School (St Michael’s). All of these services have different themes and liturgies reflecting the rich beauty of worship in our Anglican tradition.
